Germany urges Russian President Vladimir Putin not to allow the use of nuclear weapons against Ukraine. We support the US position on this issue.

Axar.az reports that these words were said by German Chancellor Olaf Scholtz.

"Putin makes mistake after mistake. He can immediately withdraw his troops from Ukraine, start negotiations with Kyiv and end this war. Putin's call for mobilization is an act of desperation and a panicked reaction to the failures of the Russian Armed Forces in eastern Ukraine. As for the use of nuclear weapons, no one knows for sure. Who knows? But like US President Joe Biden, I want to say very clearly to Russia: Forget about it!" - said Sholtz.

The chancellor also pointed out that Germany will continue to support Ukraine, especially on the issue of weapons.
