Zhdanov: Ukraine's appeal could split NATO

Ukraine's application for NATO membership could quickly tear the Alliance apart.

Axar.az reports that this was said by Ukrainian military expert Oleg Zhdanov.

"Hungary is strongly opposed to Ukraine joining the Alliance. We can think that Germany and Greece will also be in this position. I do not exclude that Ukraine's appeal is the reason for the disintegration of NATO. This could be the starting point for the collapse of the North Atlantic Bloc," Zhdanov said.
