Gas supply from Russia to Italy was stopped

The supply of natural gas from Russia to Italy has been suspended.

Axar.az reports that the Italian company ENI has released information about this.

"Gasprom" announced that it will not be able to supply the required gas for today. It was stated that gas flow from Austria is impossible. Thus, today the supply of Russian gas to ENI through the Tarvisio entry point will be 0", the information emphasized.

The ENI official, who made a statement to the local media, said that Austria has ensured the gas supply to Slovakia:

"We are contacting Gazprom to restore gas flow from here to Italy."
