There is no question of participation of the CSTO in the special military operation in Ukraine.

Axar.az reports that Aybek Smadiyarov, the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, stated this.

"According to international law and the UN Charter, Astana is based on the principles of territorial integrity of states, their sovereign equality and peaceful coexistence. The zone of responsibility of the CSTO is clearly defined by the internationally recognized territories of the member states of the organization, and collective security is ensured within these territories. The issue of CSTO participation in the Russia-Ukraine conflict zone is not on the agenda," he said.
