Armenia allocated an additional 4.4 mln dollars to the army

The Ministry of Defense of Armenia will receive additional funds of 1 billion 805 million drams (about 4.4 million dollars) from the budget due to unexpected expenses.

Axar.az reports that the relevant decision was taken at the government meeting.

"There is a need to allocate funds due to unexpected expenses, which are of primary importance for ensuring current activities," the information says.

It should be noted that the defence budget of Armenia for 2022 has increased by 11% and is set at approximately 345 billion drams (850 million dollars at the current exchange rate).
