Qatar asked for help from Turkey

The Turkish parliament approved the bill on the six-month mission of the country's military contingent within the framework of the "World Championship Shield" operation held in Qatar. The document envisages the involvement of the Turkish army in the measures to ensure the security of the world football championship to be held in Qatar from November 20 to December 18.

Axar.az reports with reference to Oxu.az that the mission will be implemented based on the request of the Qatari authorities to Turkey.
