While retreating from Kherson, the Russian army mined many objects, including children's toys.

Axar.az reports that Rostislav Smirnov, adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, said this.

According to him, the scale of mines in Kherson is extremely large:

"Now the main focus is on demining. The scale of demining there is too large. There were mines in children's toys, even in a soccer ball. Rescuers have already neutralized more than 5,000 explosive objects in the liberated areas of the Kherson region."
