Erdogan had a meeting with Taha

Within the framework of the OIC Standing Committee on Economic and Commercial Cooperation (COMCEC) meeting held in Istanbul, OIC Secretary General Hissein Brahim Taha and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had a meeting.

Axar.az reports that the President of Turkey highly appreciated the efforts of the organizations operating in the field of economic and commercial cooperation. He welcomed the launch of the Trade Preferential System (TPS-OIC), which will play an important role in further developing trade exchanges between member states. At the meeting, views were also exchanged on the Palestinian problem, Turkish Cypriots, Rohingyas, Uyghurs, Kashmir.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan stressed the need for continuous efforts of OIC member states to increase the potential and role of the organization, its bodies and institutions.
