Alexei Kudrin, chairman of the Russian Accounting Chamber, has resigned.

Axar.az reports that Kudrin himself issued a statement about this.

"I have worked in the public sector for about 25 years. Now I would like to focus on large projects that are related to the development of private initiatives in a broad sense, but at the same time have a significant impact on people. Therefore, I have submitted a relevant application to the President of Russia in accordance with the established procedure, I am leaving the position of the Chairman of the Accounts Chamber", said Kudrin.

It should be noted that Alexey Kudrin is considered one of the close friends of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
