Axar.az reports that the TV channel "A Haber" broadcasted information about this.

"For an unknown reason, an explosion occurred in the port of Samsun. Fire brigades were sent to the port area, and a fire started there after the explosion," the TV channel reported.

There is no information about the victims and the causes of the explosion.
