Tension again on the border between Kyrgyzstan-Tajikistan

The tension on the border of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan has increased again.

Axar.az reports that the Border Service of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan reported on this.

It was mentioned in the information that this time the tension was created by local residents:

"In order to prevent the expansion of the conflict, the Kyrgyz citizen fired three warning shots into the air using a hunting weapon. In order to clarify the causes of the incident, a meeting is currently being held at the level of border representatives of Batken and Isfara divisions of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan."
