German Chancellor Olaf Scholtz studies the essence and logic of Vladimir Putin's thinking by reading books about the Russian leader and his own articles.

Axar.az reports that the German newspaper "Spiegel" published information about this.

The material mentions the works of European writers on Putin's foreign and domestic policy, as well as the article "On the historical unity of Russians and Ukrainians" written by the president himself in July 2021:

"The chancellor is trying to find out who Putin listens to, what kind of literature influences the Kremlin leader, what theoretical concept his policy is based on."
