Macron: France is not trying to destroy Russia

France does not intend to destroy Russia, the two countries are united by cultural and historical ties.

Axar.az reports that French President Emmanuel Macron said this.

"We never wanted to destroy Russia. The Russian people have always been respected in France," Macron said.

Macron also noted that the only way to end the conflict in Ukraine is through negotiations.
