Putin invited CIS leaders to Russia

An informal meeting of CIS heads of state will be held in St. Petersburg before the New Year.

Axar.az reports that Russian President Vladimir Putin said this at the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council.

"Beyond the scope of our work today, I would like to remind you that we are waiting for you at the informal meeting of the heads of state of the CIS on the eve of the New Year agreed in St. Petersburg," Putin said.

It should be noted that informal CIS summits convened by the Russian President at the end of the year have already become a tradition.
