IRGC commander was killed in Tehran

The head of the Police Information Center of Iran explained the assassination of an IRGC guard in Tehran.

Axar.az reports that Colonel Ali Sabahi said in a press briefing that martyr Qasem Fatullahi, an IRGC member of the Mohammad Rasoolullah (PBUH) Corps in Tehran, was targeted by unknown armed assailants and martyred on Wednesday morning.

He added: This martyr was hit by four bullets in front of his house on Tuesday night, and the capital city police are investigating the cause of the incident.

Sabahi stated: Since the signs of theft from the apartments around the accident site are also evident in the police investigation, the capital police experts are investigating this incident from different dimensions and are analyzing the clues.

The head of the Capital Police Information Center said: Additional results of the investigations of this incident will be announced later.
