Turkiye: Sanctions could not overthrow Putin!

The measures taken by the West against Russia have been ineffective.

Axar.az reports that this was said by the spokesman of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Ibrahim Kalin.

"Western sanctions neither changed Russia's actions nor gave the Ukrainians the opportunity to win a decisive military victory. So what should we do? To create conditions for this to continue for one, two, three more years?!" Kalin said.

Kalin added that the sanctions did not force the Russian people to stage a coup and remove President Vladimir Putin from office. Also, the Turkish authorities do not plan to join the sanctions against Russia, because these sanctions are more damaging to the Turkish economy than to Russia.
