Russia will strike Yerevan - Babajanyan

Armenia has clearly turned from Russia to the West. Yerevan demonstrates that Russia's defense architecture does not serve Armenia's security challenges.

Axar.az reports that this was said by former Armenian deputy Arman Babajanyan.

"Armenia, together with its Western partners, is on the way to creating such a secure environment from scratch. Of course, the happenings cannot help but worry Moscow. "For this reason, especially against the background of the new mission of the EU, which is extremely important for the interests of Armenia, Russian attacks on Yerevan are expected," he said.

He noted that, as before, the Russians can create pressure within the republic and involve various socio-political circles of Armenia in this process.
