Ukraine needs at least 5 brigades of F-16 - Ignat

For defense, Ukraine should replace the entire fleet of Soviet aircraft with US F-16 fighters and create at least five air brigades of them.

Axar.az reports that Yuri Ignat, an official of the Ukrainian Air Force, said this.

"We want to replace the entire fleet of Soviet aircraft, which are already morally and physically obsolete, and are fighting at the limit of their capabilities today. But we need a Western-made plane. F-16 and other types of aircraft are being talked about from the first days of the Russian occupation," said Ignat.
