A call from the UN to Baku and Yerevan

The UN calls on Azerbaijan and Armenia to ensure security in the region.

Axar.az reports with reference to Report that Farhan Hag, Deputy Spokesman of the UN Secretary General, said this at a press conference.

"The UN mission in Azerbaijan and Armenia continues to communicate with local authorities and international partners. The Secretary-General called on all parties to reduce tensions and ensure security in the region. We welcome their support for mediation efforts to reach agreements between the parties," the official of the organization noted. .
