Turkish, Azerbaijani and Georgian defence ministers Hulusi Akar, Zakir Hasanov and Juansher Burchuladze, as well as the commanders of the military branches of the Turkish Armed Forces, watched the Winter Exercises 2023 in Kars province.

Axar.az reports citing Anadolu Agency that military personnel from 17 countries, including the UK, Germany, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan are taking part in the exercises.

Headquarters officers informed Akar and the guests accompanying him about the scenario and the course of the exercises.

Speaking at a briefing, the Turkish defense minister stressed the importance of joint steps aimed at ensuring peace and stability in the region and the world as a whole.
