The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine issued a statement regarding the imprisoned ex-president of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili.

Axar.az reports that the statement requested the handover of the ex-president to Kyiv.

"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine strongly objects to the inhumane treatment of Ukrainian citizen Mikheil Saakashvili, who is being held behind bars in Georgia.
