F-16 is not our only option - Akar

A possible US refusal to sell F-16 fighters will prompt Ankara to consider alternative options. US F-16s are not Ankara's only option.

Axar.az reports that these words were said by Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar.

"We expect that common sense will prevail in the United States and that they will make a decision based on a thorough assessment of the problem. Our colleagues from the Turkish parliament are negotiating with representatives of the US Congress. Our slogan is "Strong Turkiye, strong Army, strong NATO". We also say that F-16 is not our only option," Akar said.
