EU warning to Tbilisi

If Georgia resumes air traffic with Russia, the European Union will impose sanctions on Tbilisi.

Axar.az reports that this was said by Peter Stano, the press secretary of the EU High Representative for Foreign Policy and Security Affairs, Joseph Borrell.

"We are aware of the recent discussions regarding the possible restoration of air traffic between Russia and Georgia. "The European Union urges Georgia to join the sanctions imposed by Russia against the aviation industry and to be vigilant against attempts to evade the sanctions," Stano said.
