Earthquake in Turkiye leaves ruin in Syria: 100 dead

The 7.4-magnitude earthquake, whose epicentre was registered in Turkiye, caused destruction in the northern regions of Syria.

Axar.az reports that 42 people died, and 200 people were injured and hospitalized as a result of the earthquake.

The destruction was recorded mainly in the Aleppo and Idlib regions of the country.

As a result of the earthquake in the north of Syria, the number of dead has exceeded 100.

This was reported by the Ministry of Health of the country.

It was noted that dozens of people remained under the destroyed buildings in Aleppo, Idlib, Latakia and Hama provinces. About 400 people were pulled out from under the ruins.
