The EU also announced that it will help Turkiye

As EU countries, we are ready to help Turkiye and Syria in the earthquake where hundreds of people died and were injured.

Axar.az reports that Swedish Foreign Minister Tobias Billstrom wrote this on his official Twitter account.

"I am very sorry for the terrible consequences of the earthquake in Turkiye and Syria and the death of many people. Since Sweden holds the presidency of the EU Council, we will appeal to Mevlud Cavushoghlu and Syria for coordination. We are making efforts to help these countries in this disaster," Billstrom said.
