A French citizen started a hunger strike in Iran

Benjamin Breyer, a French citizen imprisoned in Iran, started a hunger strike for the second time after his arrest.

Axar.az reports that his sister and lawyer made a statement to the media.

"Hunger strike is Benjamin's only weapon," said the French prisoner's sister.

Benjamin Breyer's lawyer said that injustice reigns in the Vakilabad prison of Mashhad, where he is detained, and the number of executions is high and that his client is facing mental problems.

It should be noted that Benjamin Breyer was arrested in Iran in May 2020 on charges of being a fake spy.
