Istanbul Stock Exchange stopped trading

Istanbul Stock Exchange has decided to temporarily suspend trading.

Axar.az reports that "TRT Haber" has published information about this.

"A decision was made on the temporary suspension of operations in the stock markets, derivative stock indices, and the derivatives market," the information states.

It should be noted that strong earthquakes occurred in Turkiye on the morning of February 6. According to the latest information, 7108 people died and more than 40 thousand people were injured as a result of the earthquake. In total, 7,840 people were rescued from the rubble. 7 days of mourning have been announced in the country.
