A 5.2-magnitude earthquake occurred off the coast of the Indonesian island of Java.

Axar.az reports that the European-Mediterranean Seismology Center has released information about this.

According to information, the epicenter of the earthquake was located 140 kilometers southwest of the city of Yogyakarta, where 636,000 people live, and its source was 58 kilometers below the surface of the earth.

As a result of the earthquake, there were no reports of damage or loss of life, and the threat of a tsunami was not announced.
