Russian President Vladimir Putin and Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko had a telephone conversation.

Axar.az reports that the press service of the Office of the President of Belarus released information about this.

During the dialogue between the parties, cross-country import-export issues were the main topic of discussion.

The parties also discussed the prospects of the construction of the North-South transport corridor that will pass through Russia, Azerbaijan and Iran.

The country's leaders also touched upon the issues of cooperation in the field of microelectronics and the relevant decisions to be taken by the governments of the two countries in order to intensify mutual activity in this field.

It was also added that Putin and Lukashenko discussed other issues of the international agenda, the agenda of the meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State, which is expected to be held in April this year.
