Zelensky imposed sanctions on Assad

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky imposed personal sanctions on Syrian President Bashar al-Assad for 10 years.

Axar.az reports that the order was published on the website of the President of Ukraine.

Along with Assad, Zelensky imposed sanctions on 300 individuals and 141 legal entities by the decision of the National Security and Defense Council.

It was reported that 3 of them are citizens of Syria, 7 of them are citizens of Iran and the rest are citizens of Russia.

It should be noted that on March 14, during his visit to Moscow, Bashar Assad recognized the regions of Ukraine annexed by Russia as the territories of the federation.
