This country also imposed sanctions on Iran

The Australian government has imposed sanctions on several Iranian officials and institutions.

Axar.az reports that "Azad Iran" Telegram channel reported on this.

The sanctions were imposed because of human rights violations in Iran and Tehran's support for Russia in the Ukraine war.

These sanctions apply to 14 official bodies responsible for the murder of the young Iranian girl Mahsa Ami, as well as to 4 officials of the "Akhlaq" police.
