Mirzoyan: Tripartite meeting will take place in the near future

It is possible that a tripartite meeting of the foreign ministers of Armenia, Russia and Azerbaijan will take place in the near future.

Axar.az reports that this was said by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan.

Mirzoyan noted that this topic was also discussed during his visit to Russia:

"The tripartite meeting between the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Russia was supposed to take place on December 23 last year. We were supposed to meet in Moscow, but due to the events on the road to Lachin, we postponed our participation in that meeting.

It is clear that the negotiations are now conducted at a distance, as we exchange proposals and ideas for a peace agreement. However, face-to-face meetings and discussions should be resumed at some stage. At least these are the proposals."
