The Pentagon is trying to attract US startups from Silicon Valley to fulfill its military contracts to outcompete China in developing military technologies.
Axar.az reports that the "Wall Street Journal" has published information about this.
"Currently, the American military industry has become dependent on a small number of large corporations, which causes concern and requires the search for new solutions to the needs of the Pentagon. Unlike the United States, China is more actively involved in developing new types of weapons by private companies, and "Beijing's focus on the technology sector has already exceeded $1 trillion. For comparison, let's note that venture capital investment in the defense and aerospace sectors of the United States is now valued at $6 billion per year," the report said.
