Half a million people took to the streets in France

French police used tear gas against protestors in the capital Paris.

Axar.az reports that "Le Monde" published information about this.

It was reported that the demonstrators who stood up against the pension reforms started throwing various hard objects at the police.

There was a confrontation between police forces and protesters on Volter Boulevard. 22 people were arrested.

Clashes also took place against the backdrop of protests in Bordeaux, Toulouse, Lyon and Nantes.

According to the information, today the number of people participating in the actions across the country has reached 516 thousand.
