Call from Blinken: Leave Russia immediately!

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken called on American citizens in Russia to leave the country immediately in light of the arrest of Wall Street Journal employee Evan Gershkovich.

Axar.az reports that this was stated in the statement of the state secretary.

"The State Department's highest priority is the safety of US citizens abroad. We reiterate our serious warnings about the threat to US citizens in Russia. US citizens living in or travelling to Russia should leave the country immediately," the statement said.
