White House: India is not an ally

India is not an ally of the US and will never be.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Kurt Campbell, coordinator of Indo-Pacific policy of the White House administration.

"India is a great power. India is not an ally of the United States and will never be. However, this does not mean that we will not be close partners and will not take a common approach to many issues," he said.
