Why can't Russia capture this city? - Colonel

It is not realistic for Russian troops to besiege Bakhmut in the Donetsk region of Ukraine.

Axar.az reports that Roman Svitan, a reserve colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated this.

"To besiege the city of Gala, the enemy forces need about 30 km of reserves along the front, which is even technically impossible, because the enemy will be attacked by Ukrainian garrisons from two sides.

Seversk and Belogorovka are our well-chosen strongholds, holding the whole front. This is the problem of the Russians," the colonel said.
