Borrell: EU countries provided assistance to Ukraine

The countries of the European Union have provided various assistance to Ukraine in excess of 60 billion euros, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell said at an event organized by the Spanish newspaper El Espanol.

Axar.az reports referring to TASS that in general, the EU was supposed to provide military assistance to Ukraine for about 12-13 billion euros, he said.

If military, economic, financial, humanitarian aid, assistance to refugees are added up, then during one year of the war, the EU helped Ukraine in excess of 60 billion euros, he added.
