A dangerous type of corona was found in Armenia

A case of infection with a new subvariant of the XBB.1.5 omicron strain of the coronavirus named "kraken" was registered in Armenia.

Axar.az reports that the Ministry of Health of Armenia has informed.

It should be noted that although the World Health Organization (WHO) previously called "kraken" the most contagious variant of COVID, the course of the disease is underestimated.
