The West is afraid, but Putin will not do it - Volcker

The fear of Western countries crossing certain "red lines" is unfounded, because Russian President Vladimir Putin will not take any steps to destroy Ukraine.

Axar.az reports that Kurt Volker, the former special representative of the US State Department for Ukraine, said this.

"The Western allies do not give Ukraine the necessary weapons in order not to disturb Putin. This is completely wrong. I don't understand it at all. If Putin was capable of more, he would have done it already," Volker said.
