Axar.az reports that the President of the Republic of Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan said this during his address to the nation.

He noted that the door of the century of Turkiye has opened today:

"We fulfilled the hopes of our friends whose hearts and eyes are with us. The Turkish people wrote history on May 28. The year 2024 is ahead of us. We will work hard to win back our Istanbul that year."

According to him, the next main goal is to take ownership of the unity of the people.
