If a conflict occurs in the Taiwan Strait, it will be a real disaster. The United States is committed to maintaining peace in the region.

Axar.az reports that this was said by US Defense Minister Lloyd Austin.

"Make no mistake, a conflict in the Taiwan Strait could lead to disaster. Therefore, we are committed to maintaining peace and stability there," Austin said.
