Russia's Bakhmut loss revealed: Exact count

Russia lost almost 23,000 soldiers in six months at Bakhmut.

Axar.az reports that this was said by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov.

"The Ukrainian army had to protect its city. If Ukraine had not resisted, Russia would have won. 22,816 Russian soldiers have died since September 1, when Russia used prisoners at Bakhmut. Our losses were 7.5 times less than theirs. We had no right to hand over our own city," said Danilov.
