Fuel prices have increased in Georgia

In recent days, an increase in the price of gasoline has been observed at most filling stations in Georgia.

Axar.az reports that the price of gasoline at most gas stations has increased by 20-25 tetris (8-10 cents), depending on the type.

Currently, at some gas stations, the price of 1 liter of "Premium" is 2.70 lari, "Euro Regular" is 2.50 lari, and "Regular" is sold for 2.35 lari.

According to economic experts, this increase is related to the re-appreciation of the dollar and the depreciation of the lar in the country. Experts believe that the price of gasoline will affect the increase in inflation and the price of consumer goods.

It should be noted that the National Bank of Georgia purchased a record amount of 322.4 million US dollars in April.

It is reported that this factor is the reason for the increase in value of the dollar in the Georgian market.
