NATO has doubled its military strength in Eastern Europe

NATO has doubled its military presence in Eastern Europe since 2021.

Axar.az reports that NATO spokesperson Oana Lungescu said these words.

"NATO partially strengthened the eastern flank by creating battle groups in four more countries - Bulgaria, Hungary, Romania and Slovakia. So, in 2021, this number will be 5,000 in four groups, while there are currently about 10,000 soldiers in eight combat groups," Lungescu said.
