Iran demonstrated the first hypersonic ballistic missile called "Fattah" with a range of 1400 kilometres.

Axar.az informs that the Israeli media reported on this.

According to information, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and high-ranking commanders of the IRGC participated in the missile test. Information about the development of Iran's first hypersonic ballistic missile called "Fattah" became known in the fall of 2022.

IRGC commander Amir Ali Hajizadeh said that their first hypersonic missile would evade all anti-missile defence systems, and it is unlikely that technologies that can withstand these weapons will emerge for decades:

"This missile is the solution to destroy the enemy's anti-missile systems, it can travel five times faster than the speed of sound."

It should be noted that Amir Ali Hajizadeh announced the test of a new hypersonic missile.
