Ukraine has not told US authorities the exact date of the counterattack, but Washington believes it has already begun.

According to information, Kyiv presented to the US authorities only temporary frameworks that the army will launch a counterattack:

"The US military reports that activity has been registered in Ukrainian positions. According to them, the Ukrainian army has started military operations to find out the positions and numbers of the Russians. The reconnaissance battle will last for several days."
