Zaporizhzhia NPP is in danger

After the destruction of the dam of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station, the situation regarding the lack of water to meet the needs of the Zaporizhzhia.

NPP will soon become critical.

Axar.az reports that IAEA director Rafael Grossi spoke about this.

"Definitely there is a threat. Maybe in a few weeks or a month, but something needs to be done. We don't want to panic, but this is a serious situation. Typically, reactors require a guaranteed amount of circulating water. If you start losing it, you will have a problem. The problem may be delayed by a few days or weeks, but the problem will be there," Grossi stressed.

It should be noted that the Russians blew up the dam of Kakhovka HPP yesterday.

This is considered the biggest man-made disaster in Europe in recent years.
