The Iranian government intends to build a political-ideological propaganda centre and a TV channel against Turkiye in the West Azerbaijan province.
Axar.az reports that the Kurdish governor of the West Azerbaijan Province, Mohammad Sadiq Motamediyan, put forward a request and proposal for the establishment of such a propaganda tool.
"At a time when hundreds of media organizations and television channels are operating that promote 24-hour separatist views against the country, it is important to open a television channel in Turkish in Western Azerbaijan for broadcasting abroad," the governor said.
Probably, the new offer and demand of Mohammad Sadiq Motamediyan were caused by the recent spread of information about Turkish media discriminating against non-Persian peoples, especially Azerbaijanis, in Iran.
It should be noted that there are media organizations and television channels that carry out political-ideological propaganda of the Iranian government in various languages, including Turkish, and promote the theory of "exporting the Islamic revolution".
