The war does not benefit the Russian billionaires, but they will do nothing.

Axar.az reports that former Prime Minister of Russia Mikhail Kasyanov said this.

"There is no one in Russian political circles who can show power to Putin. They are all afraid of him, they have become a tool in Putin's hands. Putin made them billionaires to do his bidding, not to express his personal opinion. For those who express their opinion, Khodorkovsky is a clear example. Everyone is afraid of Putin," Kasyanov said.

According to him, high-ranking Russian officials are afraid to make critical statements because almost all their assets are in Russia:

"Yes, even the heads of various institutions hate Putin because they were not consulted about the war. They are deprived of the right to vote."
